If you are looking for a vet that shows no compassion, this is the vet for you! In august my dog started limping. We brought her into Wittenberg Vet clinic right away. Linda one of the vets at this clinic didn't bother to do any tests and diagnosed my dog with arthritis. I gave my dog the medication for a month and her limping got worse so I then brought her in again. This time Linda decided to do x-rays, which she couldn't fit into her schedule because it was a Friday and they close at 1. She advised us to come back on Monday and she would take care of it then. My dog continued to suffer throughout the whole weekend. Monday morning at 7am I dropped off my dog and they completed the X-rays as they said they would. I got a call around 2pm saying that my dog had bone cancer and had about a week to a month to live. I was hysterical. I came to the clinic to pick up my dog and Linda showed me the x-rays and additional tests that they completed. Throughout the whole visit I couldn't take off my sun glasses. I asked her one simple favor and that was if she could either come to our house or if we could come to the office early in the morning to put my dog down so she wouldn't suffer. The only thing she said was "I don't do weekend." Which is pretty heartless in itself, but we understood that she was busy and didn't want to take extra time out of her life to help us out. Unfortunately, the next day we had to put my dog down because her pain had increased immensely over night. We called the office as soon as they opened to see if we could take a few minutes out of there day to put our dog down so she wouldn't suffer anymore. Linda said she might be able to do it at noon. We were very upset about this after spending $400 on vet bills and going to this vet clinic for over 10 years. We were able to go to Birnamwood Vet clinic even though we had never been here before. They got us in right away and even came to the car to put my dog down. A few days later we reicieved a sympathy card from Linda. Then to top off two weeks after the card she sent us a letter saying we were no longer able to come to her clinic with our animals.

Horrible experience. After my experience I did some research and I came to the conclusion that Dr. Linda may be the worst vet ever. I took my dog to have a simple cyst removal from a hernia. Three weeks later my dog was dead.

We have been using the Wittenberg vet for over 15 years. 4 years ago we moved to schofield yet will still drive out to use this vet. Dr Linda is wonderful, she doesn't rush the appointment and takes the time to explain everything. We trust her with the health and wellbeing of our dogs.

Compassion and professionalism at its best! We brought my son's dog in for a tooth extraction and although he was a new patient, he was treated as a member of their family. From the moment we walked through the door until we brought Sawyer home the care given was 5-star! They also took the time to follow-up and insure our "granddoggie" was on the mend. Wonderful clinic to help your best friend!!

When my dog started having complications, she told me it was because of stress not the drugs. Complete BS. If it was stress, why wasn't I informed that they make soft cones instead of the hard plastic ones.

I believe Dr. Linda over medicated my dog. She put him on four different drugs. When I looked up some of the side effects that night of the drugs, I then called the next day and questioned if he should be on them. She told me that those cases only happen in little dogs and my German Shepherd would be fine. She was wrong.

Once my dog started having complications all she could do was prescribe more drugs.

To no surprise he was dead two weeks later. By the time I got a second opinion it was too late. My dog died of kidney failure, liver failure, and internal bleeding. How does this happen from a cyst removal?

Worst Vet ever. Do not let this woman touch your dog!!!

To start, before the surgery I wasn't properly informed on options of drugs or ways to reduce the stress of what my dog was about to go through.
